From its modest corner shop beginning over 100 years ago, McGoverns Greengrocers grew to become a symbolic icon of Dun Laoghaire, renowned for its quality and service to its many customers.
One hundred and seven years on, McGoverns now sees its 5th generation taking over the reigns with the launch of its online greengrocer store. Father Gabriel, along with sons Brian and Tom have re-invented the family business with a twist. Selecting produce from the farmers market first thing in the morning, McGoverns deliver direct to your door the same day, ensuring you receive only the freshest produce available.
Our direct service eliminates many major overheads, with these savings being passed directly to our customers, with no hidden costs such as delivery. As a local family business, McGoverns is dedicated to sourcing all possible produce from Irish suppliers and farmers. Our suppliers all over the world ensure we supply all varieties of fruits, vegetables and freshly grown herbs. So whether its your Rooster Potatoes from the fields of North County Kildare, your free range eggs from Ballyfree Farm in County Wicklow, or your bananas grown in the tropical climate of Costa Rica, you can be assured all produce will be the freshest possible. All deliveries take place on Thursdays and Fridays, from 9am until 7pm. We deliver in South Dublin from Shankill to Blackrock.
